5 Things We Love about Christmas at Universal Orlando

The holidays are almost here at Universal Orlando Resort! From November 17 to January 6, guests can enjoy returning favorites for the Christmas season. See what there is to enjoy for the holidays at Universal Orlando.

Grinchmas

Celebrate the spirit of the season with one of the most classic Christmas tales! Seuss Landing gets all decked out for this special event, and the residents of Whoville roam the area greeting guests. Don’t miss the Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular to hear the tale of the Grinch and meet him for yourself. For even more Grinchmas fun, book a Grinch & Friends character breakfast.

Universal’s Holiday Parade

Each evening at Universal Studios Florida, guests can enjoy an all-new version of Universal’s Holiday Parade featuring floats from the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade as well as appearances from the Minions and characters from Madagascar and Shrek – and of course, Santa himself.

Seasonal Shows

Guests can enjoy holiday versions of some of Universal's regular shows, such as Christmas carols during the Blues Brothers show in Universal Studios Florida. Also, the best-selling holiday artist of all time visits Universal Studios as Mannheim Steamroller returns for live performances on select nights. Performances are included with regular theme park admission.

Holidays at the Hotels

For those staying at one of Universal Orlando’s on-site hotels over the holidays, there's plenty to enjoy including tree lighting ceremonies and decorations through the resort. During the week of Christmas, guests can enjoy special visits from Santa and Mrs. Claus, holiday crafts, special Christmas buffets, and more (activities vary by resort – available only on select dates).

Holidays at the Wizarding World

Christmas is coming to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter! Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade will be decked out in their holiday best. Guests can enjoy seasonal performances from Celestina Warbeck and the Banshees and the Frog Choir, as well as sip on seasonal hot Butterbeer. After dark, a projection-mapping show will bring Christmas-inspired scenes to life on Hogwarts Castle in The Magic of Christmas at Hogwarts.
