4 Things You Should Never Buy At Walt Disney World

Who doesn't love to save money? Many people think "affordable" and "Walt Disney World" should never be in the same sentence. Not true!. There are a ton of ways to save money on your Walt Disney World vacation while still enjoying a truly magical trip. Armed with a little knowledge and pre-planning, you can get the most out of your vacation dollar at Walt Disney World.

Skip purchasing these four things on your Walt Disney World vacation and you could save hundreds of dollars!

Water It kills me to see people paying nearly $3.00 per bottle for water when you can get it for free. That's right, water is free at Walt Disney World. Simply go to any quick service dining location that serves fountain drinks (which is most of them) and ask for ice water. They will give you as many cups as you would like! Worried drinking tap water? The ice water comes out of the soda machine. If you drink the soda, you can drink the water.

Rain Ponchos If you are visiting Orlando, you can expect rain. This is especially true in the summer, but thunderstorms occur year-round in Central Florida. Rain ponchos are a must for any Walt Disney World vacation, but don't pay over $9.00 per poncho in the parks. Before your trip, head to the local dollar store where you can get them for, well, a dollar. Are they the best quality? Nope, but how often do you wear a rain poncho outside of a theme park? Save your money so you can buy more Mickey Ear ice cream bars!

Snacks You can save a ton of cash by simply bringing your own snacks into the parks. Walt Disney World allows this as long as you don't bring coolers or any glass bottles. Pack some hardy, "will last a day in the backpack" snacks like granola bars and you will have a healthier waistline and a healthier wallet!

Glow Necklaces As dusk settles over Walt Disney World, the glow vendors come out. These little rolling carts filled with light can really put a dent in your vacation budget. Instead of melting the credit card at the kiosk, grab some glow bracelets and necklaces at the dollar store (you'll be there getting rain ponchos anyway). You can fill a backpack with glowy goodness for less than one bright item purchased at the resorts.

Visiting Walt Disney World doesn't have to cost a fortune. There's plenty of magic to be had on a budget!
